| The honeybee tile is the first of what I plan as a series of life-like insect tiles. They are made from mid-range stoneware which is bisque fired to 1940° and glaze fired to 2228°. The size is 4" x 4" x 5/16" which makes them suitable for counter or wall installations. Matching field tile is available by special order. This the the tile that I used to demonstrate how a relief tile is made. Go to the "Step-by-Step" page if you'd like to see the process from beginning to end. Each tile is $12.00 and the shipping is free for one tile when ordered at the same time and with the same "ship to" address as a trivet, clock, mask, or mirror. Otherwise, for one to three tiles the shipping cost is the same.
